About Frank Serafine
Over the past 30 years, Frank Serafine has worked with some of the best directors in motion pictures. Together with his staff of sound designers, mixers and engineers, he created some of the most widely used and recognizable sound effects found in the industry. More than 2,100 gun effects were provided from the sheriff’s private vaults, ranging from the original “Tommy Gun” and ammo confiscated from the notorious Chicago mob gangster Al Capone, to fully blown modern assault rifles, automatic machine guns, pistols, hand guns, impacts and ricochets. 352 Gun Foley Sounds, 171 Bullet Impacts, 35 Different Weapons, 15 Pistols, 7 Fully Automated Machine Guns, 4 Rifles, 4 Shotguns, 2 Dart Guns, 1 Toy Gun, 1 Squirt Gun, 1 Red Rider BB Gun, 2,131 Total Sound Effects and the final disc contains a feature track on the History of Guns.
The Human/Animal Collection provides staple nature elements required for post production sound editing.
