Ocean Way Studio B
The remarkable acoustics of Ocean Way s historic Studio B enabled eachinstrument to be recorded at the optimal distance and angle – and with the microphones that best captured the full frequency and dynamic range of that instrument. Three sets of stereo room mics picked up StudioB’s natural ambience at various distances from the drums, and when those room sources are blended together, the range of tonal colors and spatial depth is enormous.

Each DL Kit comes in 3 preset versions – Dry, Medium, Ambient. These versions provide instant sonic gratification and are taken directly from the presets available on our Multichannel (Gold and Silver) Editions.

Control:
On each instrument within DL Kits, you can adjust VOLUME, PAN (instruments are already pre panned in their “true” stereo position, but you can further adjust if you need to), VELOCITY (you can optimize the performance capabilities of your specific MIDI keyboard), and ENVELOPE (attack and release)0
You can also switch between IMAP (our proprietary keyboard map) and GM (if you choose to program in this mode or playback existing standard MIDI files).
Just like our Multichannel Editions, you can Mix and Match instruments and pre sets to create your own custom kits.
