Sonic Reality Sound Licensing Background
In addition to our own products Sonic Reality creates
sounds and licenses them to other hardware and software companies. You may
have heard or played Sonic Reality sounds for years and not even known it!
Here’s some background on Sonic Reality sounds that have been created for
other company’s products. If you are a software developer, video game
producer or musical instrument manufacturer and are interested in licensing
Sonic Reality sounds feel free to contact us.
Since the early 90’s Dave Kerzner, founder of Sonic
Reality, has been creating sounds for the top keyboard and sound module
manufacturers such as Alesis, Roland and Yamaha. He contributed sounds to
the popular Roland Vintage Synths and Keyboards of the 60’s & 70’s Expansion
Boards for the JV series as well as numerous sounds for Alesis Q Series such
as factory sounds for the QS keyboards, Vintage Synth & Keyboard Q-Cards,
Sanctuary & Latin Q-Cards, NanoBass, DM Pro and more!
After providing sounds for some of the very first
CD-ROM sample libraries for Akai and other hardware samplers with products
such as Classic Keyboards & Vintage Synths and having programmed sounds for
other sound development companies, Dave set out on his own in 1996 to create
Sonic Reality, a sound development company whose motto is “Sample
Everything” and since then it literally has. Sonic Reality has become one of
the most diverse sound solution companies offering the widest variety of
high quality drum, percussion, vintage keyboard, synth, guitar, bass, vocal,
world and orchestral instrument multisamples and loops.
